Genevieve Mar has served as an insurance representative and wealth advisor with M-G Financial in Northbrook, Illinois, since founding the firm in 1995. She has experience working with a wide range of clients and excels at providing individuals and families with wealth management insights tailored to their specific circumstances and objectives. Genevieve Mar is also an associate wealth advisor with Berthel Fisher and Company Financial Services, Inc., and appears on WGN TV’s Women and Investing program.
Earlier in her career, Genevieve Mar worked as a banker for Canada Trust and the Hong Kong Bank of Canada, both in Vancouver. Before joining M-G Financial, she served as an administrative assistant for Delott and Associates in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. She also served the company as an insurance representative and member of the back office support team.
Genevieve Mar holds a biochemistry degree from the University of British Columbia and a master of business administration in finance from Simon Fraser University. She maintains insurance licensure in more than a dozen states and holds Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc.
